What BMS means?

The Building Management System enables an efficient and automatic control of the building’s installations such as lighting, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning. E.g. it protects building owner against a situation in which the heating and cooling equipment operate simultaneously. Usually heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) generates the most costs and is in need of optimization.

The BMS adjusts the work of the heating and cooling and reacts to the changing conditions of the ambient conditions. It centralises control operation in one place and monitors uninterrupted operation of HVAC equipment. The constant monitoring of the status of ventilation equipment, air conditioners, air curtains and the environment enables an immediate reaction to events requiring technical intervention.

VEMS system is a very sophisticated version of BMS – it considers specific usage condition not monitored usually and offers other efficiency promoting features.
